Managed to get my hands on a Brand new, still sealed in shrink wrap Voodoo 3500! I'll never be able to bring myself to open this beauty!

This laptop is possibly older than i am (i was born in 1982).  This laptop belonged to my grandmother and my dad being in IT just kept it around.  He passed away 2 years ago so i cant ask him anymore info on it.  It still boots, but no clue how to navigate it past this page.  The battery pack is still there but it swollen and not usable.

I have a 2nd laptop that will be in another post.

You mean Steve from RandomGaminginHD?

You're probably right there. That card would be far too new for Clint.

You need a seagull trying to land on the card tho.

He actually got the exact same one also sealed and was super happy unboxing it a couple of weeks ago.

Crossed wires I think. If you're talking about the Voodoo I saw that one.

My card is the gtx 570 which is probably too new for Clint.

He quoted you, when I think he meant to quote me; as I got the Voodoo 3500, that Clint also got and opened. I already have an open one, so one be touching this one.

Think i might mod the case on this and make it a bit of a sleeper. Not touched since the day it was built

The components actually look pretty decent in these old Alienware, compared to more modern ones, where they clearly cheaped out hard.

What i was referring to was that there were AMD chips in this era that could be overclocked by drawing on it with a pencil in the right spot. I think this is one of them, but i'm not sure and there's no marks on it so no one has tried before.

lol, you can go that with a few lga 775 cpus too, or just a peice of tape. same outcome.

LGA775 wasn't as convenient though when I tried that for myself (got loads of LGA771 to 775 stickers though). My Athlon luckily either came modded or my motherboard just doesn't care. I'll probably find out when I swap it for my Duron.

I just got a couple c2d e4300's from my school, I might mess with them. My amd oc experience has been pretty good though. I was able to get 250mhz on my laptop's tf-20. I was never able to find any pin mod for it.

Yeah, was in the days before Dell caused them to sell out. The case weighs a ton and was clearly built to last. Kinda why i was thinking of doing something with it as cases these days are flimsy compared. Think airflow might be my greatest issue

2 ATI FireGL v3350, the 256MB pcie models (wow. pcie was a feature on gpus then)
