If you want some retro parts, how about the first computer I ever had an Amiga from 1985. Still runs and plays games. Requires a floppy to load kick start, the OS, and another floppy to start Workbench, the GUI . Currently it sits in the basement, I still play with it once in a while. Used to have a printer for it, can see the very edge on the left, but it broke, and couldn't repair it so get rid of it. Also managed to get a joystick, an expansion floppy disk drive, and an update to kickstart, and workbench. Anyone wanna play Lemmings, Test Drive 2, or Total Eclipse?

Once you look inside you'll see how bad it is. The inside is unpainted, hard drives are screw-mounted (so are optical drives). Also what logo do you mean?

Front switch panel.

The big circle is the power button, the small one on top is reset, and there are 2 LEDs there too (power and HDD).

I apologise for the picture quality, they are taken with my phone (can't bother downscaling 20mpixel images from my mirrorless ^^)

-edit- I actually have a lot more, might upload other stuff later.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I have a sharp laptop from 2002. Running a mobile athlon processor and windows XP SP2 (yes, it never even made it to SP3)
It's a freaking dinosaur. Floppy disk drive, dual PCMCIA slot, SCSI, Serial... it even has a phone connector for dial-up. Still works fine, though. Every now and then it'll pretend to die and then all I have to do is leave it for a bit and then boot it up again. It's freaking indestructible.

Today I thought we would do something fun and different. This is a topic about showing of all your old pc parts (or old computers). Feel free to post some pics:) It will be fun:D

Here's some of mine:

Kingston Hyperx DDR2 2GB 1066MHz

Intel core 2 duo 2.2 GHz

Intel core 2 duo 2.2 GHz backside

Core 2 Duo isn't retro.  I'm still rocking a Pentium E5200.  Also, if you have 2 sticks of that hyperX, I'd happily take them off your hands.

QUOTE ME OR I PROBABLY WON'T SEE YOUR RESPONSE

Compaq ProSignia. Roughly $3,500 when new, and I got it for $2.50. Battery holds for an hour and a half (Word, original battery even), and the rest of the laptop is in great shape.

Your point is invalid.
