I have an IBM ThinkPad T43 type 2668 with an Intel Pentium M processor running at two gigahertz. That thing was at my other house so I cannot show the picture of it. It's probably the last IBM ThinkPad products. It says "Manufactured for Lenovo" and there are no lenovo logos around the case. It's kind of like classic and it's capable of running Windows 10(32bit), it currently runs Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit version. It is not in very decent condition

I'm not opposed to Linux, but I paid for Windows when I got my Yoga Book. Maybe if I got the Android one it would have been an easier pill to swallow, but I just didn't want to deal with it personally. Then again if I did get the Android one, I might still have that device as is since it probably runs a lot better on them.

No offense to the die hard Linux users out there, but I tend to only use in on machines that are past their support cycle. Like with older MacBooks, Apple might stop offering software and security updates, but pop in a cheap SSD and load Linix, and boom! You got yourself a nice laptop again for basic use. So from my standpoint, it just seems weird to buy a new machine and immediately load Linux on it. I prefer the ecosystems that Google, Microsoft, and Apple can provide.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate (Chinese) on my ThinkPad T43 smoooooooooooothly

It never frozen. It seldomly crashes (like sometimes "Check to be sure you have adequate disk space" BSOD). It boots up like 25 seconds (FASTEST RECORD).

Compressed air can, soft bristle paint brush and a duster cloth.

Used a very little amount of beeswax polish on the GPU shroud.

I love TYC but there's no brake cleaner or WD40 here.

I've got one in my closet, I kind of want to get a Core2Quad for it just for funs but I don't know if I can still find the Abit drivers since Abit is dead. Abit IN9-32X MAX Wifi. The Abit website still exists but all the driver download links are dead. Le Sigh.

Use the research engine for to download individual on every website (nVIDIA, Silicon Image and Realtek). And drivers for Abit WiFi, you can to find it easy ;)

You can to use Abit website for to know the model chipset :)

Maybe, when I've got $60 I don't want anymore to buy a QX9650, I could run XP 64bit and use all 4GB of RAM. I was able to easily run a 1600mhz FSB on that board all day long with my E8400 so that would stick a QX9650 at 3.6Ghz out of the box without any multiplier OC. A 4Ghz QX9650 would be a fun toy but ultimately that's all it would be as I lack a period correct graphics card anymore and have better uses for the case. I might be persuaded to sell off the board, cpu, cooler, etc if I found the right buyer at the right price.

I got a 8800GTX.  I'm not sure if it works.  It's a Gainward one.  I can't test it as i don't have a suitable XP/Vista machine to run it on.  You can have it if you pay for the postage...Or maybe i could buy the board from you?

Maybe, I think at this point I'd be more interested in selling off the board but I have no idea what a fair price would be, there's none on eBay currently.

Have a think.  I'm not gonna throw any pressure on you.  My 8800 isn't going anywhere anytime soon.  PM me if you've come up with a price

Also had an nForce board with E6850 (Asus P5N32-E SLI) and 8800GT in 2007.

The core2duo quickly showed its limits so I replaced the whole lot with a 6 core i7-970 build 3 years later. Managed to sell the whole machine as a working setup with display etc so don't have any of it left. The 970 still runs and games occasionally at a friend's with a GTX970.
