I got some old stuff lying around. Plenty of CPUs like XP1700, Duron 1Ghz, Celeron 540 and i3-2105. Got an old 256meg GPA (sic) video card and SB prodigy sound card.

2x4 Gskill Dual Flex DDR3 mems and 1x4 Ballistic Sport DDR4 mem.

 

Probably more if I look around. Do we have classified here? I'm in the USA.

I've got a 9400GT passive, and PCI 6200 passive, and I think a PCI 5200 that's also passive. For simple display out duty passive cards are awesome!

It's got a slot for it, it's for cache on the card. Exactly why it's needed I'm not sure, but HDD's used to have very small cache around 2MB so having a bigger cache on the controller card surely had benefits. Truth be told, I never was able to use the card as I couldn't get it working in Ubuntu 6.06. I wanted to setup a RAID array as a home file server with some auto-backup features.

I have a Dell Dimension E521 just lying around. That AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor has a higher clock speed and the same amount of cores as my ASUS Chromebox CN-60 (from 2014). And the Dimension has more RAM though it's DDR2...XD 320GB HDD. I'm surprised it has a 7200rpm top speed.

Seeing as you can purchase a loose PS2 for about 10-20 USD, I do not think these would be of much value to most.

Even as some 'for parts' unit, you would likely be better off getting a full PS2.
