Fractal Design Define R5 E-ATX adaptation?

Elipes

I love my Define R5. I Cant afford a new case and need to put a Rampage V Extreme in it. Im aware it doesnt support E-ATX, im wondering if anyone has any experience or advice on how to... Coerce... the case into fitting E-ATX

Looks like you'll have to buy a new case because the R5 has an indented motherboard tray the size of an ATX board.

Im aware, I'd like to modify that. Im more asking if anyone here has ever forced the indentation to be E-atx

Fair enough, but I'd just recommend you just save money and get a case that supports E-ATX instead of a janky solution that will only last who knows how long. If you live near me I might be able to hook you up with a spare case.

I think bitwit did a build with an e-atx asus motherboard in that case, also he built it on a yacht, but you'd have to dent the indent inward even more and make sure the case's metal back doesn't touch the motherboard.

Try using the PSU Tier List!

Have a look at this build, by Jope in 2015.

E-Atx, 12*10,4 inch/ 305*264 mm

Not sure if a 305*272 mm will fit, but as hconverse02 suggests, a dent might help
