Well it would be slightly slower, but way more portable http://www.xoticpc.com/gigabyte-p35kcf1-p-6249.html

You can throw in a 128gb m-sata ssd in and still be under $1500

The razer blade is fine, but the screen is absolute garbage.

The laptops are very similar, but the gigabyte one is a 15.6in matte IPS screen. The only real negative I know of on the gigabyte one is the touchpad, but if your gaming your probably going to use a mouse anyways.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y500! One of the best laptop for price to performance ratio. (It has freaken 650m sli) Fits all your criteria except the audio part. Not sure how good the audio is on that laptop. However if you get the i5 version and use the extra money your friend saves he can get the JDS Labs DAC things so even if audio from the laptop is poor it wouldn't be an issue. The laptop also supports 2.5 inch drives. I think it only supports one though. But still you can replace the 5400rpm 1TB drive it has inside with any 2.5 inch SSD or HDD.

The only downside to this laptop is that if it's running on batteries only one 650m can be used. It must be plugged in to enable the second 650m for sli. Oh and the DVD drive is taken up by the second gpu. So the laptop can only either have a second 650m or a DVD drive. Not both. OR another HDD if you so please.

Huh, they seems to have ceased production some time ago (didn't follow news on this laptop). Only 2 left in stock O_o.

Actually I think it's getting replaced by y510p. It has 750m sli. Slightly more powerful. OP go get that instead lol.

I'm looking to sell my Lenovo Y510p.

It matches everything except the screen size, but the HDMI out can take care of that.

Send me a message if interested.

When I get bored, shit gets broken.
