…so, how does the free upgrade work? I bought Synergy 1 with one of your codes, but I can't find a way to upgrade to Synergy 2 for free.

why didn't I get a notification for this?

Colton did you create this as a hidden thread then make it public? doing that makes notifications not work FYI.

It should already be activated in your account, head to "Download Synergy" and then there should be another tab for Synergy 2. If you have any issues send me a DM and we'll get it fixed.

I'm 90% sure I bought synergy with one of your codes (paid $10 for it acc to my paypal record) and the downloads tab just shows Synergy 1.8 atm!

Either way, this was a cool video! I've been using Synergy for a while to use my desktop pc + macbook, and it was still pretty damn cool to see the 4-in-1 monitor at work. I need more Colton + Dennis detective work vids tho.

Same thing as duckydoug regarding not being able to download Synergy 2 over here. I bought it using the LTT code on the 13th of January 2017, so maybe it is too far back to be apart of this?

Am I supposed to have Synergy 1.x access with the new code?

EDIT: Nevermind. It just showed up after I refreshed.

I got suckered into buying this software from an LLT ad spot some time ago. Synergy is garbage. It's slow, constantly stuttering, and randomly hangs and freezes or simply can't communicate between the two machines. Sure maybe it worked for you, but there are long threads on these very forums full on people who bought Synergy on your advice and who have had nothing but issues with it. (And before you ask, I've used every version is 1.8 and they all sucked)

if u have some advice, sincerely reply my comment or email to shimakisaragi@gmail.com... i'm still in progress on that idea for future project.. i hope u can help me...

Wouldn't it be easier to just run 4 VM's and use synergy to connect to all of them at the same time?

VM's take up resources on the single pc like ram and hdd space, but its an option.

I am digging this setup.

I can imagine stocks on one setup, gaming on another, business on a 3rd and the 4th for porn.

Linus! You missed a few things about this great monitor!

1. It comes with software that does the same as Synergy. Please compare it to Synergy.

2. It also comes with software that is very useful even if using one os. You can program all the apps to ALWAYS open at a specific place (and specific size) on the screen! Please review that.

One thing I would like to accomplish (maybe you can figure it out, or have them build it into the firmware as an upgrade) is to move the screen quadrants, or PIP, or whatever arrangement) with their 'screen control' software by simply dragging a machine-window. Currently I have to use the hardware menu with the remote and is not meant to be dynamically changed.

Thanks

nat

Yeah I don't see the synergy 2 download either. I do have a license but it seems disabled. I have contacted support already so it might get resolved.
