Another noob question...

I'm getting jobs now (4th is running) but my GPU is sitting idle.  My GPU is identified:

GPU:0:TU104 [GEFORCE RTX 2080 SUPER]

... but nothing's going on (meanwhile the cpus are maxed out).

So I guess not all jobs use the GPU?

Just throw the rad out the window, OR, add a bigger rad, throw in a T in the line and refilling is actually quite easy.

i'm hesitant about cutting the line but yeah.. finding out what size tubing it is and then putting a capped T-piece on seems to be about the only way seeing as it won't back off of the barbs whatsoever (well, at least they're doing their job). disassembling the cold plate is the other option and i'd really rather not go there

This is normal, it will fix itself eventually. The Folding@home servers are having trouble receiving all the data.

i had a fuckin' realisation overight. fuck cutting the tubes or pulling it off at the pump end - pull it off at the radiator end! it's welded on so it's way less likely to break and if i do break it i can literally just put another radiator on it. plus it means i can flush the whole system through with some deionised water.

Just joined the forum, to join the folding team. The old rig is chugging along slowly (an old i5 with an Rx560 ) but if it wasn't doing anything anyway it might as well help. The newer rig (Ryzen3 2200 with RX 5700) should do a fair bit better. I'm still waiting on a passkey though, it has been a few hours. I take it I use the same passkey on both machines?

will continue folding anonymously until then
