Starting January 1st, 2021, we will be handing out awards based on new higher folding badge thresholds. These new values have been decided due to the increase of power a GPU can provide; this has made it much easier to achieve badges in recent years. Anyone holding a current badge will be grandfathered in! This means you won't have your badge downgraded after the new thresholds come into effect.    F@H Badge Thresholds In order to be rewarded with the Folding @ Home badge, please

Hahaha, do not worry. 80% of my computing power is currently on BOINC, soon to be returned to folding after cleaning and reshuffling some systems components.

I just found this team and the forum from foldin@home teams list. Also joined today, I have about 1.4M Ppd.

 

As I see there was a folding event I just missed. When will be the next time? Is it only once a year?

You could be right. But I haven't seen one for quite some time. Although, I think someone (probably @GOTSpectrum) mentioned that that there is gonna be an event in collaboration with [H]ardOCP but I am not 100% sure about that either.

We are looking to do a joint event in February with the jerries(PCGH). There will also be at least one other sprint, along with Folding month next year in October/November.

Sprints are just mini events, we had our first last year, planning to be a week or so. Been thinking about doing a 'long jump' event over a long weekend to have a bit of a laugh and see how much power you can muster for a short period of time.

3 days of fans at 100% ac on and blowing directly into the tower and clocks at that last bit before instability. I like this.
