I still have terrible performance on the card connected with the riser. Maybe this board is not up to the task

Next step, pull out one of the cards not connected to the riser and check perf

What does GPU-Z state in terms of the PCI lanes allocated to the GPU's? For example, my 3080 is running on four lanes at 4.0.

Screenshot_187.png.2457debdefbb5f78eaf6d5bb288dfa5b.png

I don't know what riser cable I'm using, but I've never had issues with it. I can't seem to find my order.

You could set the PCI setting to 2.0, and monitor the GPU temps. It'll be bottlenecked, but the elevated GPU temperatures will show if they're actually doing something.

x4 4.0, x4 4.0 and x16 4.0 for the 3 cards.

I've ordered an MSI B550 Mortar to compare to the Asrock I'm currently using

Folding is on holding, seems like the nvidia drivers are the reason why I can't get coolbits working on the p106 right now. My keyboard, mouse, and network cable are tied up doing long stability testing on another PC with wonky vdroops under heavy memory load. Once that's fixed and done and shipped I can go back to hacking away at the Xubuntu Folding box to get the P106 working properly once again.

Cancelled my order, 2x 3070's and 1x 3080 is more than enough contribution. I am going to sell the 3rd 3070 rather

Also haveny checked ITNOS in over two weeks. I shut off F@H client on my desktop and my sister nabbed the monitor sitting on ITNOS's body so I literally have not seen anything going on with it and uh

I guess ITNOS literally doesn't give a fuck about anything, it will just pump out extra PPD for no reason 🤷‍♂️ unless there's new WU's I'm not aware of

yeah i think there have been new units, we're seeing 3080's do like 10mppd on some now so makes sense some cards down the chain would run a bit better too. my 2080ti system has been really unstable in output of late and i think new units may be why, had some lower days and then some much much higher ones

Haven't seen quite 10 yet, but quite a few high 6's and 2 slightly above 7, and mostly the last few days units that are twice as large as before (annoying, prefer having an opportunity to finish every hour or so)

Anyone knows why the f****ing Gigabyte Aorus Pro B550 boards "forget" graphic cards wich are conected to the PCI-E slots 2 and 3 ??? Got 2 of this s****ty Boards and both after installing run fine with 2 or 3 Graphic Cards until they stop out of the Blue recognizing the cards in slot 2 and/or 3. At first Board i thought i damaged the slot and ordered a 2nd, but same. Now rebuilded a PC with the first board and that ran fine with 2 cards for 3 days, after that again the 2nd card was "lost". Both, Boards and Cards, are ok and theres more than needed power from the PSU .... Dont know why, never had that problem before, seems to be specific to this series or maybe to the B550 Chipset ?

BIOS up to date? Try regressing the Nvidia driver to an earlier version

PS I used to have a Sinclair and it worked great until I plugged the power cable into the tape Jack one day

Currently have my 2060's and 1070 turned off for now. Trying to save money on power. It costs £60 a month to run those GPU's.

Also, I feel gifted.

Bios is up to date ( flashed from 1.0 to 1.3 on both boards ), i allready was thinking of roll it back to default and look if that helps cause in the 2,5 weeks of running first Board on ver 1.0 i had no trouble with 2 cards. When having Machine open to exchange stock cpu-cooler vs a blackrock i updated Bios and short after the 2nd Graphiccard got lost (why i thought of might have broken something at mainboard and ordered a second one, wich i updated at setup and had same problem with wich means first MB was still ok). NV driver is 27.21.14.5671 ( 456.71 ) and same occured at  the older driver and at AMD Card at slot2 wich is normaly no problem cause NV Driver ignores them. I´ll wait for new bios ver and if that doesnt help try downgrade bios on one machine see if that helps.

Well i remenber  how cautious we assambled the ZX81 3-checking everything as young kids :D Well at those times nobody cared about physically protections against pulling something in the wrong slot, you had to deal with any errors you made and there was no way to blame the manufactors or sellers for that - tell that young Kids and they wouldnt belive an Lawyer at those times wouldnt help at those times but laughting at you and saying "your fault-deal with it" :D

Recently noticed that while my CPU thread count is set to 28, many projects e.g. 16930, seem to not be utilizing the CPU that heavily ~ 44%. Is thread utilization vary by project, or is something else going on? I do have client-type set to advanced for this CPU slot.
