Will it not be possible to fold on these new cards at all?

I was hoping they would work to some degree, just not to there full potential.

As long as your running drivers that support the card they will work in F@H as soon as the GPU whitelist gets updated which will be shortly after the card ids get submitted at foldingforumn.org

Well, that's embarrassing.  Due to my laziness, and since my name was unlikely to collide with someone else's, I never set up a passkey.  I didn't realize that the QRB was only available to those that had set up one.  Well, now I know why my ~150K PPD RX5700, rather than ~1M PPD, was a thing.

D'oh!

Heh heh, I made the same mistake when I returned to folding a few months ago. Couldn't understand how a mates GTX1070 was out producing my RTX2080 Super by quite a big margin.

Why does FAHControl lable the GPU slot numbers backwards ? Logically you would expect gpu :0  to be the top slot and gpu:1 to be the lower slot so why does it lable them the other way around ?

I think it is to do with how the GPU driver handles the OpenCL/CUDA IDs but I cant be sure. Mine for instance goes

PCIe slot 1, slot 4, slot 3, slot 2 going to folding slots 0-3, but then again I had to manually set the CUDA Ids on mine for some reason

Hmmm.... I added 4M PPD, HFM says I should be getting the credit, but in XOC my points have drastically DECREASED. 🤔

@cbigfoot What's the link to that page that breaks out the GPUs being used?

Yeah. They wouldn't be able to get the new hardware validated for F@H in time anyway.

How often does EOC update their colo(u)r scale?  I'd be surprised if users in the 00's hit anywhere near the 2m+ mark, and I'm curious if the release of the 3xxx series will be a likely driver to update it.

Never afaik. You could write them/him a mail as feedback. They guy who is behind it is really active and takes really good care of it. He even has regular updates for bug fixes and from time to time new features.

Not since 6 Oct 2017 but you’ll have to remember we are likely an “edge” case at this point with an atypical spread of daily production values.

and as others have mentioned Jason is very receptive to feedback but it might take many months for a change to be added.

Currently you have ~ 750 users with 3,000,000+ 24hr Avg. ( and 56 of them are LTT team, GO LTT ) we are not talking about a lot of people and I don't think those number will change very much with the release of 3xxx cards.

Edited to add-

After looking up those number I just checked to see where I came in on the list and Holly crap I come in at 317 project rank for 24h Avg. points I did NOT expect that !
