Starting January 1st, 2021, we will be handing out awards based on new higher folding badge thresholds. These new values have been decided due to the increase of power a GPU can provide; this has made it much easier to achieve badges in recent years. Anyone holding a current badge will be grandfathered in! This means you won't have your badge downgraded after the new thresholds come into effect.    F@H Badge Thresholds In order to be rewarded with the Folding @ Home badge, please

It is great to see the folding database created by @LAR_Systems has now surpassed 30,000 data entries, with every new entry the database becomes more accurate! 

 

Not only does it give a great skin to the web control page but also gives some great statistics!

i finally have a new GPU block for my 2080Ti, so i'm happy to say VouwFabriek is back up and operational! :D

also, this is the first time i'm using a alphacool GPU block, ive always used EK in my builds, and i might be sold on the alpha stuff. the buildquality compared to EK is just astronomical.

I have decided to join the Linus team after folding for over 15 years with my current team Team Phoenix Rising, we were one of the first folding teams number 315 but my love for technology and desire to contribute has lead me to the Linus team. I only recently found the Linus TechTips youtube channel and have been hooked ever since

 

Juggy here, 15+ years Folding on and off. I remember back in the day it took me 3+ years to make 1 million points, now I do twice or more than that in a day.

Anybody have experience with any of the newer Lithium based units?

Having a lot of LiPo experience with various hobbies, these interest me quite a bit vs the SLA type.

Yes had 4 that failed straight this morning. I deleted the GPU slot, OK'd, then added it back and the next WU worked, but it was another project (13414). Don't know if deleting the slot actually helped getting another project of if it was just coincidence.

well i am folding again...the transformer for my neighborhood blew up(may be slight exaggeration but did sound like a canon was fired) yesterday morning and i forgot to check on bender after power was restored so bender got a 26 hour rest thanks to sense energy monitor for noticing the change in always on energy consumption for cutting 450watt out of my usage in the last 24 hrs.

Well I have been playing with how much I can push my 1080 while maintaining a 75% power limit. things are looking pretty good, especially on the mem.
