where did the 280x's go?

i was looking on ncix for video cards, but when i went to search up 280x or r9 280x only 2 results came up, but about a month ago there were like 50000? or am i just stupid

Online currency miners but soon expect alot of used ones to be on the market for fairly cheap pricing, the bit/lite coin markets just crashed.

So Nvidia realized their GPUs suck and bought up AMDs GPUs to try to make theirs like them?
