Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

I wonder what would happen if you put 4.11s in it.

They are 4.10's on the Ford rear end. But its a thing, people do it, but its too much gear. I can already start in second with 0 issues, and until I had this much sticky rubber behind it first was kinda a stupid mess in anything except a perfectly straight line. For a 1/4 mile car, 4.10's make sense, for anything else, 3.73 is the sweet spot. Also 4.10's make your MPG go to shit. I used to get 33-34 mpg on 2.73's now I get 27-28. 4.10's would drop me so 24-25 ish, that is pretty bad!

So in the past few pages I didn't see any "hey look at my cool car" posts, but I mean, why not be that guy...? lol.

So I ordered my car custom from Ford, simply to get it in grabber blue, base as base can get, v6 with a stick. There was literally one other one in the country, they were not easy to come by. So, 4 years ago I took delivery of the “blue beast” I didn’t come up with the name, buddy did, but it stuck!

If you find a better option, I will buy it lol. These pictures are also crap, they are linked to facebook and I guess they just come out crappy. Car looks a little better irl, but yea whateva. There are not many grill options for the v6. I would love something like this tho (the grille, not the rest of it tho):

No, that was my roommate in colleges car. It was (still is) pretty dope, but he blew the engine 6 months ago and since it hasn't been the same, kinda long story. But it is a beast of a car, but I don't think it can keep up with mine anymore ;)

Dang, such a cool M3 but a blown engine. One of only a few cars that can pull off huge spoilers without looking ricy lol. but seriously, what happened to it?

Well neither is the Tacoma, but they still drive around Tacomas in Japan.

That is because the Tundra is a North American model. It does not come in Right Hand Drive.

The Tacoma is also a North American model. What they have in Japan is the closely related Hilux pickup truck.

I would be good with just an air rifle. Plinking away at targets 100 meters away at very low costs. And I would be able to shoot smaller animals to cook and eat...

My buddy got the car used with like 70 or 80k miles on it, drove it like he stole it every single day, and it popped at 120k. He put a new motor in it, but it seems to have some vacuum leak somewhere, and he took his headers out to pass smog. So it's just not quite the same anymore.

Yea you can have assault rifles in Cali. I have a few. Just have to meet the Cali laws like bullet buttons, no high cap mags, no tactical length barrel, probably some other stuff I don't even remember....

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
