Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 100k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

26 minutes ago, Drak3 said:

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

how abundant are these things?

not sure of what issues these might have or prices

Actually, that is possibly the most common car in Mexico xD

Big issue with them though. They're constantly stolen for parts / to be turned into semi-underground taxis. Also, I look like a taxi driver if I have one 😛

As for the RAM Charger, I've heard so much bad about Chrysler Group, not sure what to think.

I was looking at a ca. 2006 Sentra for a relatively good price, and that's just a facelift of what we call Tsuru, which everyone else calls the old AF sentra

I would if I had a more proper setup for it. At the same time, I’m too lazy to build something and don’t want to spend the money on it (or have it take up a lot of space)

I used to play a lot more and I was decent ask @chaozbandit and @MEC-777

I just got tired of sitting at a desk to play it lol. Being there for hours in a little wooden chair (so it doesn’t move) was uncomfortable and exhausting lol

Takes a bit of getting used to and very dependent on the car/track, but it can be done. Not competitively but still much fun to be had.

Hello guys, just wondering what's your opinion on purchasing cheap dashcams? Some of the items on this list (https://www.ratedradardetector.org/dashcam/best-under-100/) seem to be a good fit for my budget, but I want more opinions if I should wait a little more and save for something more expensive (and perhaps reliable)? I am also not familiar with any of the brands as I am pretty new to owning a car, any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Why buy a cheap one now if you're going to buy a better one later? Why not start saving now and buy the better one sooner and not waste the money on the cheap one now and delay the purchase of the better one? Also why would you want a cheap (low quality) dash cam in the first place? The point of a surveillance camera is to capture useful evidence when something happens, if you have useless low quality footage (yep that was a dark colored blob with some lights on it that hit me officer!) it won't be helpful.

PC2 just feels bad to drive honestly. Just like Assetto.
