Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 100k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

X-type with the 3.0 engine. Sadly its an auto but that still doesn't stop me from spinning the ties. Not the best jag but a good daily driver jag for those of us that put a lot of miles on our cars.

It needs replaced and ill probably get another X-type. As much as I would like a XJR, i would hate to buy a car like that only to put 30-40k miles on it in a year.

We get quite a few XJs in that barely do a couple thousand a year, one of the lads done a 2014 one on 2800 miles

SUVs are a big thing right now because gasoline is relatively affordable. Once it goes up, they'll be out of fashion again.

Most people that buy trucks or SUVs should be buying minivans or sedans. They just want trucks and SUVs to feel like they have some meaning in life because their kids drained them of any meaning.

Ideally you want to replace both headlight clusters though if the other side is okay just replace the cluster shown in the picture.
