Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 100k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

26 minutes ago, Drak3 said:

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

I also had the fun of fixing the GFs sunroof drain on her G6. (I hate sunroofs)

The drain line had come off of the connection above the headliner and was just dumping the water onto the headliner, down the A-Pillar and onto the passenger footwell.

This fucking guy:

Pulled the A-pillar apart, and the front half of the headliner down in order to get at the fitting. It's just a friction fit fitting, so fingers crossed at this point. I hit it with the hose and it was draining properly, hope it stays that way.

I hate sunroofs.

We got different tastes then. I love having sunroofs bc it makes the car feel much more open when everything's open (windows and shit), and so far I haven't been ruined by a bad experience yet, so i'm gonna continue buying a car with one if i can help it.

I used to take my old car to the Russians down the road, but I daren't do it with my new one.

No idea what their chemicals might do to the paint.

Unfortunately, means I have to wait for decent weather to have a clean car :(

I'm looking for a shop to do a good job fixing it up, I only want it done to the best standards...

Foresters and outbacks are so low, maybe stick to gravel roads with them lol.

Its also just a wee joke in the pic, someone crashed it. They really aren’t too bad for gravel roads.

so that's basically like sriracha for tabasco then ain't it. because sriracha is thick and somewhat spicy with a strong vinegary smell. but how spicy is the mash compared to something like sriracha?

Hey @warmmilk, could you help me? It is kinda of a dumb question but I was curious so I start diggin' about the evo X oem rear bumper, and I was wondering: In order to install an aftermarket diffuser do you have replace the stock one for the aftermarket, or the aftermarket acts like a "cover"? Here's what I'm trying to say:
Looking at the pics it's obvious that they replace the stock one, but I just wanna confirm it to be sure.

Well the mash is pre-vinegar. Idk what I’m allowed to say.... but it is somewhat thick. It’s spicier than sriracha for sure

Tabasco also has a line of sriracha. Which is pretty good as well.

I like the other flavors more than the original. Mostly because they use less vinegar in some of the flavors. I’m not the biggest fan of vinegar. I wish they would make something without any because I would probably buy gobs of it lol
