Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Was hard to get the lighting right for this one but any ideas on what color to go for for the seats?

The seats are the the majority of the brown In the car so I guess it could be a little off from the accents elsewhere and be ok. There’s no getting originals... so Idk what else to do

Compared against passenger seat seat since driver seat may be faded too much due to wear & tear. That’s really what needs to be fixed idk if you can see the tears in one of the pics...

I like bottom middle and bottom right the most. Between those two it's about a 50/50 split. I think they'd both make a quality looking seat.

Wow, 400 with just bolt ons? That's pretty darn cool considering cars these days cars don't seem that aftermarket friendly. Also, is that a CA plate to me? If so, happy that these parts seem 50 state legal....?

Been smashing Asseto Corsa for a few days now and I truly appreciate Lotus now. Pity they're so expensive cos I'd change my mind and go for a Lotus instead. They're ok on petrol too as they weigh about as much as a feather

Who else really wants one of these? image.thumb.png.99543a51cf7add1c2c0dcfbd12ca2026.pngHybrid economy, estate practicality, Porsche dynamics and a good ride; recipe for perfection if you ask me. The thing is huge though, still imo looks great- this is gonna spark an interesting war :P

Ok never mind. It's not great on fuel, but hey, it's not bad for a V8 limo

Yeah 400 at the wheels! Nuts. That’s probably somewhere around 450ish at the crank if I had to guess

wonder why the stock setup is so restrictive. It’s almost like they are choking it lol

but yeah I like them! I wouldn’t buy one brand new tho. Maybe in a few years (not that I can afford it even then)

Well i mean they probably used more restrictive parts to save money maybe. But then I wouldn't understand why they'd cut costs on a sports car.

He got a good jump at the start leading into the sunrise. Two seconds after the first corner on the Audi. The Bentley and BMW are rockets in the cooler air.

I probably will. I kinda want to cheap out and go with the "better" excedy clutch for $240.. but since my current OE excedy failed me I don't want to lol

So it's either that or an ACT. I'd rather that one. Pretty much the same price.

Maybe ill call them this week and ask if they can give me a small discount.. can't hurt to ask

it's not really an immediate concern... as my current one is only slipping under heavy load but within the next month I need to get it.
