Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

I know, i just wish it didn't. My hardware isn't exactly powerful but if I can't even have somewhat smooth gameplay on the lowest settings what's the point?

I get super bottlenecked in a bit of games by my i3, even in GTA IV.

Well Horizon 3 is done downloading, was already 20GB in when I made my original post, but now it's attempting to sync data with Xbox servers (Who knows how long that will take) and I'm still watching Roadkill while downloading GTAIV and all the DLC. Internet is holding up nicely. Got a 40 man LAN on Saturday so I need to install some more games for sure

Speaking of which, when I was going to buy my Netbook yesterday i got on the interstate which is rare for me, but I really liked it! everyone was doing about 70 which is right at about 2 grand for me, which you could tell the whole thing was running right about peak efficiency, it felt happy. I was trying to stay a little bit below 5 over.

Also not car related, but I just ordered the Corsair SP2500s. Hopefully they'll show up to mah dad's house before this weekend. :) much excite.

Interstates are 60 around here. Pretty slow.

I use my HD558s, no speakers hooked up to my PC. My TV is hooked up to some logitech system I picked up for cheap.

Pretty much what life with the MDX has been like over the past year. Best fuel efficiency while speeding, which kind of sucks. VTEC doesn't kick in till 3500rpm, which is just before the box shifts up.

Also the drivetrain overall feels much better now after a full fluid flush, though the brakes suddenly have longer travel.  Not sure if its winter related or if its the DOT-3 fluid (no clue what the dealer put in beforehand) - pads still have good life and the rotors are fairly new.

Mines probably like 3.8k. What I don't like is @60 is that its pretty much sitting near VVT activation. So if I'm not paying attention I can start to creep up in MPH, then I notice I'm going like 15 over.

When is VVT activation? I never notice it on mine. What I do notice is when it's cold the VTCS goes insane around 3k rpm and the car has a sudden power surge like nitrous was applied or something, but it doesn't do that when it's warmed up.

they make tools for popping pimple/zits cleanly, sometimes if you pop them by hand they will stay there for a long time still or come back because when you pop it by hand it pushes some of the bacteria deeper into the skin. it's like a little pointy tool with a loop of metal and a hole in the middle of it. ill get a pic if I can find it.

just make dog gone sure you wipe the thing with alcohol wipes or something before you use it, even right out of the box. I used one of these to pop a zit on my earlobe one time lol

and honestly if you can't pop it, the best thing to do will be to leave it alone. If you mess with it too much it will start to swell and you'll be making a visit to the doctor. If you leave it completely alone and just keep the area clean it should go away.

i didn't know those were a thing lol where can i get one.

and honestly it's hard not to pop it, it's a bad habit, just like chewing my fingernails. i just like peeling the dead skin off after popping a zit. idk why it gives me some satisfaction. but unlike fingernail biting, which i can curb with some bitterant, idk what i can do with zits.

well same with gta v, or is it more gpu intensive? because it doesn't matter for me because both cpu and gpu are crap.

GTA V cares more about GPU than CPU honestly, but it still cars about CPU, if that makes sense. Not really but still

they may have not got quite all the air out of the brakes. They should feel harder after new fluid, not softer.

speed limits are 65 around here, but apparently people go as fast as 85 here, and traffic actually generally travels at around 80mph. it's surprising how much over  the speed limit most traffic speeds.

wow, i didn't know vtec actually kick in that low, i thought it would kick in up higher, like 5000rpm at least.

I have no clue exactly, but it feels like 3.2k there is a pretty big boost. Its weird, this is the first and really only car where I can feel it activate. Usually, unless its vtec you don't really notice it.
