Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Just have someone move the shifter in the car while you look down on top of the transmission. I can see part of the linkage in those pics. ;)

Can't do that right now as it's pitch black. But here is someone else's video of the thing in action.

Is the cable inside tube visible at the top left corner?

No, top right corner. You can't really "see" the cables in the vid. One moves the shaft in and out, the other rotates the shaft. (the selector shaft).

I'm just still confused because after the small black square theres a 90 degree joint and a rod that goes into the firewall.

And all the pics make it seem like there are really defined cableboots at the cv joint area.

@bcredeur97 got that slave cylinder installed. It made the clutch super light now unfortunately. The friction area is a bit shorter and the immediate grab is a lot better. Not really worth 100 dollars though.

Also cool, garage door support spring snapped. So gotta figure out how to open it without any supports.

Gave that a shot, using the model and brand name and all. I left messages with a few local record stores. Just a waiting game I guess

Oh the joys of Northeast winter with no garage or off street parking. :)  ...yup the inspection ran out in August. It doesn't get driven often, though it is going in the shop Friday for some work and inspection. Fully street legal.

Beware the irrational, however seductive. Shun the ‘transcendent’ and all who invite you to subordinate or annihilate yourself. Distrust compassion; prefer dignity for yourself and others. Don’t be afraid to be thought arrogant or selfish. Picture all experts as if they were mammals. Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity. Seek out argument and disputation for their own sake; the grave will supply plenty of time for silence. Suspect your own motives, and all excuses. Do not live for others any more than you would expect others to live for you.
