Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Depends on the pads shape...

They could be starting to warp, IDK

Apparently this is how it starts to look like when the rotor warp. Watch out...

I'm familiar with warping rotors, I've posted about it in this thread before. :P They're not there yet though, thankfully. I can tell that much.

is it an old episode? because there aren't any new ones yet.

Science Channel has been doing a two week long marathon of purely Mythbusters. That's literally the only thing that's been airing.

It was an episode on traffic, how traffic jams start and if you constantly swap lanes vs staying in one lane

I've given up on that, it's too dirty here. I just rinse it off every once in a while and leave it at that.

While working on the Bug , i noticed an issue with the transmission ...

It "doesnt" want to go in neutral . Like , when i put it in neutral , and slowly let off the clutch ( not touching the throttle ) it wants to go forward , and the engines RPM drop .

Now , im hoping its due to very bad oil since it hasnt been changed at all during its lifetime , tho what else could cause this ?

The car is 1968 , engine is the 1200cc , 4speed manual ... dont know much about the specifics till we clean it up and probably drop the whole drivetrain out .

@KingCry Hellow fellow 1.8T owner. Here's my 01 Golf 1.8T with a custom exhaust system I made (3" downpipe to modified stock cat (3" inlet, 2.5" outlet), 2.5" cat back to cherrybomb vortex muffler with 3.5" turn-down tip). Planning to get a tune done in the spring to get it up to 220hp +/-. :)
