so apparently my dad didn't get an actual quote for me when he was getting a "quote" for the corolla to add me on. so it actually isn't 5 grand for 6 months, and it wasn't even with our insurance (aaa); it was like metlife and other insurance companies. and apparently i would i have to be insured under all 3 cars in my house because they believe i will use all 3 at some point (which is somewhat true). so i'm actually hopeful that insurance isn't crazy expensive for me as i thought.

And it was right around $600. It's not super amazing but it's amazing for the cost. We'll see how it turns out once I get everything sorted

that is not bad a craftsman chest that size would be 3 or 4 hundred dollars more

Okay seriously, someone explain to me why there are so many unbelievably stupid drivers out there. I'm making a uturn and the guy in opposite lanes of traffic decides to basically stomp on the gas to see if he can tbone me.

Not slow for its time (30 years ago). But I imagine it being an affordable way of getting a nice handling car. Up until the Miata took its place.
