Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

this has allways confused me though, why not just make a fake bodykit and drive it without the obvious HEY GUYS IM A CONCEPT CAR wrap stuff?

Because they are testing the car. They can’t make fake parts, because then what’s the point of testing? They do a lot of testing before the car even looks like a car or before the car makes it to ‘real world’ testing. When they drive around in public or on a track with that funky paint job, its because they don’t have a choice.

What's the point of that black and white stuff?

camo, it makes cameras have a hard time trying to focus on the subject and it also distorts the shape of the car to a human eye to hide minor features. There is a whole art around prototype car camo.

i'm telling you, american insurance companies can't trust teenagers AT FUCKING ALL. and if trying to get a 2010 corolla insured for me costs 5 grand every 6 MONTHS, imagine trying to get a 2003 400hp bmw m5 insured under me. i can imagine banks closing and the stock market crashing trying to get it insured.

If you know any local scrapyards , or a bike service shop , you can look around for used dirtbike engines ... Has the clutch / gearbox all in one , and usually with alot more power than one of those industrial engines ..

Our insurance went down after I was added and that was with the truck and Mustang on it with full coverage. We only paid ~$2,200 a year. You guys got reamed, hard.

what the fuck.... i'm almost considering switching insurance companies. AAA doesn't seem to be teen friendly. nationwide seems kinda enticing, maybe liberty mutual?
