more or less. had to blitz several markets for last minute Christmas shopping on my way back to the highlands.

I drove our 2000 Ford Lynx Ghia.

had to do a 3 point turn on a 20 degree slope while loaded too. the car was not happy.

2jz tacoma drift truck?

Tacoma come in a 3.4l v6, so it already has more power than a 2j.

I went up the hill empty this time so there was no need for extra power. but it's already pushing it. for now my task is to rest up for the celebration later.

Overtime pay only counts when over 40 hours. Yay for 0 benefits.

Trust me, I've been saying for a while now. But sometime next year I'll have a new job. Kinda waiting for my friend to get back from his military training. He wanted to get a place together, closer to Olympia than where I am now. Jobs there pay way better.

so is it ok to run an e39 m5 with 5w40/5w30 oil? because even though it's supposed to run 5w60 oil, i've seen people run the other two without issue.

you will get slightly less protection, particularly if you like to rev it a lot with a lighter weight oil. 

 

I would run the 5w60. Though ive never even heard of that before lol. where do you even buy that? 

 

 

what you need to compare is someone's oil analysis after running a 5w40 vs an oil analysis of a 5w60 for that engine and see how the results compare and/or if there is a significant difference.

 

also, I am known for putting Mobil 1 0w-40 in everything. it just seems to be the most versatile oil weight ever lol

I would too. Top Gear, no matter the hosts, is usually interesting. 

I didn't /like/ the hosts on US top gear, but I still watched it. It's a good car show nonetheless.. it's different enough from everything else to be entertaining.

 

that being said, I think Chris Harris would make an interesting host on top gear lol. Honestly not sure about the others, I was never one to keep up with actors/actresses/celebrities/younameit so I don't really know who they are even though I may have seen them before.

 

 

wait... isn't Sabine that lady who drove the van around the Nurburgring in under 10 mins? If so, perfect :P

I don't like Chris evans very much... Other than that, the new cast will atleast be more skilled drivers...

Sabine is awesome I just don't know how she'd be as a presenter. Harris is alright too.

Just run it at spec. Those other people aren't what BMW bet tons of money on them doing their job correctly on. But tbh if there's oil in there it's probably fine.

but that stuff is expensive, like 50 bucks a 5 quart jug

im the exact opposite hate buying cars from people. I find if you wear down or are friends with the dealers they usually give you better deals.
