Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Its a CVT. I dont think you can get the touring with a stick?

not sure if 2019 was first year without stick, but 2018 models can pair touring trim with stick. https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/honda/civic/2018/specs/civic-touring-manual-type-r-397327

I know on the Si you can get a stick

for 2019 i believe the si and sport trims only come in stick. everything else, including the base lx model seems like cvt only which is stupid

Well, FML started up the gt-4 today to go wash it and gas it up.  Couple blocks down I notice My aftermarket oil/oil-temp gauges aren't working.  Obvious course of action is to follow the harness and see if it came disconnected.  This is not the easiest of tasks since the car has a roll cage and makes taking interior panels out a true PIA.  Everything looks fine on the drivers side so I go around to the passenger side and pull the carpet back to find a giant fucking mouse nest.  They must of camped up in there over the winter.   They chew through quite a few wires but it seems to be mostly the aftermarket stuff and they left the factory wiring alone.(as far as I can tell at this point.)

Just rolled my 2000's jetta diesel over 333'333km today.  What's the next milestone I should watch out for?

If I have to explain every detail, I won't talk to you.  If you answer a question with what can be found through 10 seconds of googling, you've contributed nothing, as I assure you I've already considered it.

What a world we would be living in if I had to post several paragraphs every time I ask a question.

You can only get a LX or sport with a manual unless you get a type-r. Getting a manual would of required me to order one, and I would of got significantly less on my trade in if so. I wanted the hatchback, spent a week driving a used one and decided to buy the new one. After the Mazda 3 I was pretty tired of commuting with a manual. If I get a project car it'll be a manual for sure.

So I had did headlight restoration using the 3M kit that came with the polishing stuff feb 18th of last year. Difference is when i was done, I put xpel covers over the headlights as supposedly they work amazingly well for keeping them from yellowing again.

Here’s what they looked like feb 19th last year:

here is what they look like today:

As as you guys may know as I literally just got a house with a carport a month ago, my car before then has literally spent all its time outside. I wax it every few times I wash it but that’s about all I can do. I’m pretty impressed by these xpel covers and probably won’t restore headlights without them in the future.

At least they fit your head lights, I got them for my Celica and they just did not fit at all. It was like they cut them for the size of the head light overall but never actually test them to see if they fit, they would NOT conform over the 'bump' for the projector without ending up too small and pinched in on either side of the bump.

images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQb9RIqsKivVEe1DoYUanA

It no worky for the bumpy head lights. I was very annoyed with their customer service too, they basically told me 'oh I guess they don't fit, sorry'
