Welp the cheap civic finally gave up this morning. Cranked but didn’t start. 
 

I felt like it was turning over kinda fast I wonder if the timing belt broke or jumped teeth lol... oof if so. 
 

At least I don’t really care other than being annoyed I had to take the Miata to work today and get it all dirty

Yeah RIP civic I’m pretty sure it threw the timing belt so odds of living are not in its favor lol 

 

I guess I could tear it down this weekend but I might not because neighbor wanted to buy it yesterday for $1800 (I let him make the offer and I told him everything wrong with it lol).

 

He wants to K swap it I think anyway so maybe this will work out.. I get the troublesome child off my hands and he gets his shell to do cool things with

if it ripps belt, wait it might be accelator, my civic was breaking belts when starting then i found out accelatator is stuck so i bought a new one for $40

Yeah I did when I bought the car. It also bathed in oil for months whilst the valve cover puked on it and I was too lazy to fix.

Don’t feel too bad, it served its purpose. Got 2 years out of it. Complained about it a lot, but it got me to/from work, kept miles off the Miata, cost almost nothing to run in the meantime, and it died at home. 
 

and now I get to go find a daily driver that has working air conditioning again woo hoo

Construction at the shop is done, we have 4 cameras and outside lights. And inside lights that come on at night.

Fun thing happened today... was frosty this morning and the "dirty windshield" warning came up and killed cruise control. Not a big deal. Then when that happens it sends a notification in your infotainment and hondalink app as if the huge warning in the gauge cluster isn't enough. Then I go home, where its nice and sunny and my active cruse control operates normally, but the notification in the infotainment and app are still there and I can't clear them at all. So guess I have to use the scan tool to clear the code then it will go away? Guess I will find out tomorrow. Its pretty annoying.

We are expanding, but also keeping the current store. Debating if I want to switch to the new store once its built

I need to drop them all down to like 35. Spec is 37 but that seems too high and it rides pretty rough. They will go from like 37 in the morning when its cold to 39 or even 40 when it hits 60 degrees in the afternoon.

My civic was a good balance between tech and unobtrusiveness. This might be a bit much.

 

We just sold my old civic to a guy that had like a 99 civic hatch. Thing had 20k miles. He wanted something safer with all the trucks on the road now lol.
