Battlefield 1 fps drops

So i'm not sure what's really going on with the game or it could just be my specs... whenever I play campaign mode I get 60 fps at ultra no problem and stable. but, whenever I play multiplayer I've been having a lot of fps drops. I would understand when there's a situation where the explosives are all over the place but I get 60 to 20+ to 30 drops at the start of the match and it goes back to 60 and comes back down to 30. it's kinda annoying.... here are my specs i5 7400, MSI GTX 970, 16GB DDR4, and the game is in an SSD.

CPU: I5 7400 | Motherboard: MSI H110M  | RAM: 16GB G-Skill 2400mhz  | GPU:  NVIDIA  MSI Gaming 4G GTX 970 | Case: Tecware Quad | Cooling: Stock| Storage: Kingston 120gb SSD, 1TB Drive ,  | PSU: Seasonic 620 Watt 80+ Bronze Full Modular | Display: Devant 50 Inch Smart TV   |

hm it started ever since I've been playing it. I bought the game like 3 weeks ago since there was a sale...

ok well the new dlc was release about 3 weeks ago so it may be tied to that.  I would probably recommend lowering some settings though and seeing how that goes.

I would make sure your ram is all working. Multiplayer likes 16 gb of ram so one 8gb stick not working could cause stuttering and fps drops.

Another possibility is video ram. The 970 has like 3.5 gb, so maybe youre maxing that out in some maps.
