Yeah but those are ex military vehicles and aren't that easy to get up to a road legal status.

If you can afford one of those, you can afford a BMW X3 :P

You definitely need a 10 year old Landrover. Just find one with a bumper to bumper warranty.

If you are ruling out those, then you are not looking for a list of all SUV's in the North American market.

Actually, it wouldnt be hard to get up to road legal standards. From the guys on Wheelers Dealers show, they picked one up for $10Kusd, then proceeded to build a stupid camper. Same place, but a show on Netflix called Dirt Everyday, the fella picked one up for $12K.

Well I needed a complete list of NA SUV's so I could make my own list of SUV's I should look at.

I do love the expensive Range Rovers, I sit in it every year at the International Car Show. Has airbags. But the Jeep Grand Cherokee SVT (Or is it SRT?) has more HP.

The Infinite Q36 is fugly from the outside but spacious on the inside.

Other notables I like, Toyota Tundra truck, Nissan Titan truck (comes in diesel now), of course commercial C7500 truck crew cab 4x4, not too into Diesel Brothers tv show type trucks.

I had a neighbor who owned a Durango, wanted a lift kit, he couldnt find anyone who old them so he had a shop custom make one. Perhaps its Unibody I dunno. Jeep XJ is unibody lots of lift kits for that.

I have to take another look thru wikipedia and make my list of SUV's to look at.

old Jeep XJ and ZJ for sure

old Suzuki Sidekick/Tracker

Range Rovers don't have the best reliability, unless you don't mind working on stupid things that break every so often.

Easiest SUV's to find plenty of lift kits for are Jeep XJ/ZJ, Ford Explorer,Bronco, and Chevy Tahoe. Jeep Wrangler you can do tons of mods. Depends if you want a full size SUV,Toyotas are also good.

Yes and no. I've looked into it before. Also, since you're Canadian, it makes it that much harder.

It's not just vehicle customization, it's titles and other paperwork; when you purchase it, you're buying an "offroad only vehicle".

Either way we all know a mechanic with their own AMVIC license # ;) but they tend not to do out of province stuff for liability reasons.

I think he said in one of the videos that you cant get that full of a coverage warranty anymore. I think they decreased it, but still.

I still want a Nissan S-Cargo.

Show me where theres a 1994 Range Rover for $70K ?

Minimum they are $67K and $90K

2012 from stealership is $40K

2008 is $20K

My criteria would be how much space for driver and passengers.

Range Rover

Supercharged Rated at 510 horsepower and 461 lb-ft of torque

Wonder how much one is from a damage auction. Still would rather have Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. $70K

SAE Net Horsepower @ RPM : 475 @ 6000
SAE Net Torque @ RPM :

470 @ 4300
