utorrent is by far still the best, just use an older version. I use 2.2.1. The newer versions are garbage.

Thanks it says the stable version is not patched yet but they have a beta version that is apparently patched.  So I downloaded the beta

Would rather a crash than have a security risk

Hopefully we can get independent confirmation of the fix.  Intel said they patched their issue then Linus Torvalds revelaed the patch was BS.

Personally, I've been using Deluge. Its an open source client.

μTorrent is dead to me, the garbage ads and stuff were just too much.

This... I have been using Deluge for nearly 5 years now. Still use it to this day.

I just rent a cheap server for my torrents, then use Jdownloader to grab them.

I hate utorrent now due to the ads, and I rather pay for a server than pay to remove something that once was not there.
