Black line on laptop screen

ItayT

Hi,

My Lenovo 300-15isk is slowly dying on me, it's made from really cheap materials and parts of the case are already broken and now there is a problem with the screen, in certain positions or when I touch the screen in a certain spot there is a visible black line. What does it mean?

Is it dangerous to look at the screen like that or is it okay?

It is not dangerous at all. As @sjb655 said it's a line of dead pixels, meaning that your screen is on the go.
