1050ti cause of stream lag?

Hariboe

Hey!

I'm a regular player of many games and I sometimes like to stream them, mostly Overwatch in this case. It's now become a common thing that I will drop below 60fps easily when streaming, even though this did not used to happen, and I was wondering if it's my 1050ti not being strong enough as my brother has a weaker CPU but a stronger GPU and he can stream fine with no frame drops?

Specs:

i5-4670k (Stock 3.40GHz)

1050ti (Zotac)

16GB DDR3

1TB HDD

Thanks, Harri.

what program, and what settings are you using to stream?

OBS Studio, although I've recenetly discovered Streamlabs OBS which claims to use up to 25% less CPU, bitrate at 2000-2500, 1920x1080 downscaled to 1280x720 30fps. NVENC encoder

NVENC encoder

is the bro-man using NVENC as well? could be the 1050ti eats more relative performance doing encoding than whatever the bro is using.
