opinions on a mousepad...?

Jay Deah

I'm building myself a nice new PC with accessories so figure i'd replace my 10 year old mousepad too! it's a razer goliathus (i think, writing is faded!) back when gaming mice werent even a thing :)

i'm looking for a premium mousemat, not too flashy/rgb-y that would look fairly nice with a ROG monitor and Logitech gunmetal keyboard/mouse on a walnet desk.

Just find a cheep one on amazon that has the size you want. Only thing you need to make sure it has is a stitched edge so it doesn't separate.  I went through a period of trying every mouse mat under the sun and found cheep no name mats to be just as good as anything from the major peripheral peddlers. Just stay away from Steelseries. They produce utter shit that disintegrates inside of 6 months.

I’ve had my steel series QCK+ for over a year, have had no issues with it.

I've had 2 variants of QCK and a Dex. On all of them the fabric peeled off from the base in short order, and on the QCKs the foam under side started to flake into bits. Never had this problem with any other mat, some of which I've had for several years. Meanwhile the SS ones made it half a year.
