Electroneum Discussion [Now accepts ALL MINERS!]

I started about a week ago using 2 rigs. each rig is set to 3 cores (i5 750 and i5 4670k) with gpu (r9 280x and RX480) and have been averaging about 1.2KH/s. its been awhile since i was into crypto, not even sure if this coin is gonna be worth my time. I also have some ASIC zeus blades doing LTC, but im just a care taker for them, dont really do much other than making sure they are up and running. what are your impressions on ETN so far? you think it will be a viable crypto?

I do believe ETN would be a viable crypto, even if it has not been doing well recently. Its a good crypto, do you know any other exchanges (other than cryptopia) which has a low minimum and can trade ETN to BTC?

Also, welcome to the forums!

Used to be everywhere in LTT forums, had a break which lasted apparently 1 year LOL.

Gonna get up againnnn.

Wake me up if I sleep again like Oppy.

I havent done much research tbh. read a forbes article a week or so ago and figured what the he!!. i see they added Qrypto to the supported exchange, but I wont be cashing out anytime soon. when doge coin first came out i mined about 100k+, held onto it for awhile(at least a few years), managed to convert it a few times and made out like a bandit. pretty much paid for my rig twice over. and thanks. i'm not really familiar to forums, which is a bit ironic considering how much work i do with tech, but i spend some time watching LTT vids on YT a lot, more for entertainment the anything else

That's 68K currently, as soon as people start using that the profitability is going to drop fast.

Yeah, crytonight allowing ASICs won't be good for CPU or GPU miners out there. Electroneums difficulty might rise substantially if many decide to go this route...

So far Monero and Sumokoin has responded that they will be forking the coin so as to remain asic resistant. Electroneum is still on the fence about the asic as the CEO mentioned that they will implement Monero team's improvements "as appropriate".

No need for my code, l learned that you need to invite 5 people a week to have a chance to win 5000 electroneum, but the 5000 electroneum would be divided between all the people you invite, so each only has a chance to win a 1000 electroneum, so it is not worth it, i can mine as much.

I mined 1000etn in less than a day when it launched lol. Currently sitting somewhere in the mid 5 digit range on etn.

Well i have 50 etn, because i think it is a better idea to mine eth not etn, because i expect it to grow more.

How do you mine 1000 ten in less than a day? Unless, of course you use multiple gpus?

I convert my etn to btc as soon as the prices are good. Then when etn crashes and btc rises I buy more etn and sell it when it rises again.

yes i hit it with one of my rigs as soon as it launched back in december.

See the thing about shit coins, and coins that are easy to mine, if you think the project could go places, and is worthy of mining, then hold on to a ton of it. I mean if it hits $1 per etn then shit i'm a happy camper, i traded half of them when the satoshi level was 1200, the rest i will hold onto for the foreseeable future, if it hits $1 per, i may get rid of say 25% of them, depending on how the markets feel.

ETH while doing good and holding its own, may not last long once it goes to proof of stake, so its a gamble as well, but yes eth is great as well. There are quite a few cool small coins and projects out there, invest in the coins you believe in and that have meaning to you in the back ground and what they are all about instead of following what the average people do. I hold multiple currencies and rarely convert to fiat.

What coin should I go for trading electroneum to? I currently trade it to Bitcoin as it is one of the most unstable currencies (idk if it loses alot one day). Electroneum has had a real crash recently and it is getting worse so I can't afford it to crash so bad that it is barely worth anything (like it is now).

Does anyone else think that electroneum will rise again? I mean for 0.00009 bitcoin (0.6 USD) I could get ~25 electroneum. This could lead to a huge profit if electroneum does rise again.

But until that happens ill keep on mining and trading it with bitcoin and other currencies to get profit that way.
