Which gpu is better

About a year and half back I bought a AMD radeon r9 fury for 234.99$ for me and a msi gtx 1060 6gb for 232.26$ for my brother.

I was wondering which gpu is faster in terms of gaming because idk how to benchmark them.

The Fury nearly reaches the level of the 980 Ti, more like half way between 980Ti and 980.

The 1060 has more VRAM if that matters at all

I imagine it'll have better driver support and stuff in the future too

Pretty sure thanks to the speed 4GB of HBM1 was like equivalent to 6GB GDDR5

The fury is faster, but the 1060 is more efficient with more ram.

it depends on game optimisation, Fury is faster in some games and the 1060 will be faster in some others...but overall the fury is a stronger GPU but it has less memory and consume a shit load more power.

I was mentioning the processing chip, not the HBM. Yes The HBM is more efficient than GDDR5, but the processing chip uses less power.

If you undervolt it depending on your chip you can get it down close to 980 power draw levels.

1060 is on another level...it's a small and very efficient chip.
