what do you mean a 6 bit panel ? what monitors do you recommend for perfect colors and image quality ?

Well most monitors are 8 bit, with the exception of a) very very cheap crappy ones, b) high refresh rate ones like yours that sacrifice image quality for speed without making the price too high, and c) professional monitors that are 10 bit.

Essentially it's the number of distinct levels each subpixel can take on.  28 = 256, which is the range of values that every normal modern consumer devices works with.  That's per channel, so with R G and B you get 2563, which is the 16.7M colours you see advertised on most displays.  With a 6 bit panel you just get 26 = 64 per channel, and then the combination of how these turn into the full displayable range is a bit more complicated than what I want to get into but they use tricks to try to simulate as much of the 2563 (16.7M) colours that you would expect as possible.  This leaves visible artifacts however and that might be what you are seeing.  If this is the case there's nothing we can do to "fix" that, it's just how the monitor looks.

Hi! I revently bought an LG 24gm79g its 144hz monitor with amd freesync and 1ms response time. But there are like blocks and squares like artifacts that i notice in dark areas in games. Its worsr when watching a video rather than playing games. Its frustrating please help

Are you using the "Black Stabilizer"?  I can imagine it making things look quite poor

Also that's a 6 bit panel that uses dithering so that would also explain it.

Have a look at this page: http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/black.php

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Sounds normal for those high refresh rate monitors. Sacrifice colors/blacks for refresh rates

Oh yeah that does look quite poor.  Are your brightness and contrast settings correct, and perhaps most importantly in this case, gamma?  Other tabs on the link I sent above will help you get that sorted if you need.

That said I worry that it might just look like this and there's nothing you can do.  As I said it's a 6 bit panel so it's not going to produce all 16.7 M colours you expect perfectly - there will be some dithering or some other tricks and this may manifest in unpleasant visuals.

Thank you for your help. I am gonna sell this one and buy something with a really good image quality. I don't really care about motion speed as much as I care about image and color quality. Do you mind suggesting some good image quality monitors please ?

I have a general understanding of what to look for and how (TLDR ignore the specs page it's useless, go somewhere good like tftcentral and check reviews and third party tests) but I'm not familiar with what's available on the market off hand so I can't name one specifically you should check out.

In their nature, TN panels will have pretty mediocre colors and some difficulty registering black areas of the screen. This can be because of light bleeding through the panel material.

TN panels are always trash vs IPS

You can change the shadow control or something in your monitor settings to improve black levels, but it makes things pretty dark

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

There are perfectly good reasons to have a TN panel though. Outside of cost there's an abundance of 144Hz 1080P panels for cheap and if you go IPS you HAVE to bump up to 1440P to find one with high refresh rate AND an IPS panel.

You cannot get 240Hz IPS panels.

Viewing angles don't really matter when the display sits right in front of you. Color accuracy should only matter if you're doing color-sensitive work like Photoshop. I have both a 144Hz TN and 60 Hz 1440P Dell Ultrasharp. Love them both for different reasons but I'd much prefer to be stuck with just the 144Hz panel.

Apparently my post got lost.  I hit submit then it just disappeared

Most people don't use 240Hz panels, and the ones that do tend to go for higher resolutions, or so it seems.

A lot of people are moving more towards multi-display setups though, and in my experience, TN panels generally suck for this.  Also, color accuracy is nice to have all the time.  I'd rather what I look at doesn't look like crap, since my way of interacting with my PC is through my display.  As for it right in front of you, most people don't have it at a distance of a foot or less, and most people do like to lean in a more comfortable position.  No one sits like a straight monolith their entire time on the PC.

There are decent TN panels sure, and unless someone has to have 1080p, 144Hz, I'm recommending the IPS display.

Especially around the price range of 60 to 75Hz monitors.  Most TN panels in that range suck anyways.

I don't think that's true.  Everyone has priorities, but in almost every case those are "balanced" - few people just want one thing to the ultimate extreme and don't care about literally everything else.  This is why 120 and 144 Hz panels are still commonly sold.  They are higher than 60, but they offer enough improvements in colour and viewing angle, etc. over the 240 Hz offerings that 240 hasn't completely displaced them.
