To Linus, Higher Hz monitor - Trickory or Truth?

In case this hasn't already been sufficiently answered, I'll throw in this: The fact that two things are both measured in Hz is complete coincidence - they have nothing to do with each other, other than that they are measured with the same unit.  It's like how your car's gas tank might hold 55 L, but the trunk might be 450 L.  The gas isn't being manipulated or boosted to get those extra 395 gallons, they're just two completely unrelated things that both happen to be measured the same way.
