Msi GTX 1080 mem overclock max?

What would be the max safe memory overclock for a gtx 1080 by msi? I am trying mining and sofar the card is running at 5000 just fine but I don't want to blow it up. Cooling is really good if you wonder.

As high as it gets unstable

 

Voltage and inadequate cooling is what kills stuff, not high clock speed. Since you cant increase the voltage, it's safe to go as far as it can remain stable.

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s

I do plus 800 on all of my 1080's but I haven't really found the max. This is for mining though, I don't do it for gaming as there aren't any gains. Gamed at +500 at 1440p for a few games for awhile.

So if I don't ovevolt it crazy and temps are good then maxing the clock speed will do no harm?

If it’s being cooled and stable, shouldn’t be an issue.

literally running between 38 and 40c...with my crazy cooling methods so yay!

it's a full waterblock so yes memory is cooled as well.
