Can't get a display output on one of my displays.

I have a random AOC 1080p 60Hz display and an ASUS VG248QE 24" inch display (1080p, 120Hz) and currently I can't display anything on the ASUS monitor, windows detects it but can't display onto it and no matter what I try to do the multiple display settings always reverts back to "show only on 2" I have unplugged the monitor and plugged it back in as well as unplugging the power, windows saw that I had done both but I still can't display on the ASUS monitor. Any suggestions or solutions???

 

Also the ASUS screen has been "crashing" lately as I have put my PC to sleep and come back an hour later, and until I unplugged the monitor from the power. If I tried to use it's power button nothing happened, so I have a feeling this might be an issue with the monitor not windows

update, normal fix tried the unplugging then re-plugging it again (for the 3rd time, it works, but the screen still seams to be breaking or something, it's only a few months old so I might try to see if I can get a replacement)
