To be fair this is a problem unique to Apple. I've never heard of an android phone or a windows PC crashing because of a character. I've heard it multiple times about Apple and have experienced it once.

 

As to not experiencing it that kinda makes sense. You would have to have someone send you a specific indian character. Unless you're Indian that chance seem low that someone would even know about that character let alone use it. That doesn't mean it's not a serious issue. Something as simple as a character shouldn't crash 3 different OSs and pretty much brick parts of apps.

What's funny are the ppl that jump on any reason that iOS users should switch to android. I guess if I understood and received and sent messages in foreign characters... Last I checked tho, I only read and type in english and all my friends know that. And well... I don't follow immature ppl.

Coding is like magic. People makes programs and codes. But no-one really knows why it works or how exactly it works. It's basically unicorn shit. Be happy that it works. And sometimes it doesn't.
