Here is the album on imgur of the graphs, I had to pull them from the video as techspot hasn't released their written review yet:

https://imgur.com/a/gLoCO

I am adding new images for the next 5 mins as I scrub the video

From the few reviews I have seen, the 2400g is plus or minus 10% from a GT1030 and with current GPU pricing is, its far better to get an APU and use that for the time being, and slot in a dedicated card when prices come down. I mean a RX550 here in Aus costs US$124 after conversion and the GT1030 here costs roughly the same. So this is a far better solution than buying either an rx550 or gt1030 until prices come down. However memory pricing needs to come down to make the APU more usable, the 3200mhz kit that was provided for reviewers costs $250 for the 16GB kit

More to come as I find them

Not sure how to add the embedded imgur widget

I live in this city: http://time.is/sydney

I will be awake at about 5pm, I'll update this post then if there is any new reviews.

I was gonna add some thoughts + some quotes, but I am watching the videos right now. And I even have it to 1.5x speed

I mean the section is Tech News AND REVIEWS... but I think OP still needs to include his own opinion.

Well hurry the heck up! I have been getting my YouTube notifications of the reviews, but I left my headphones at home. I'm on campus in the library, so I'm sure it'd be frowned down upon if I were to listen with my laptop or phone speakers.... Damned 1st world problems...

This was actually really underwhelming.

What were you expecting? For the radeon CU count and sharing system ram,the performance isn't that bad.

So it's basically a Ryzen 1500X with an RX 550 strapped to it, for the same price as the regular 1500X?
Not too bad.

For the same price as a 1500X this is great, also when most can't afford a dedicated GPU.

Well you can read the articles I linked

Wait you think sub $100 GPUs mattered? Second is intel's chip are not being bought for their graphics anyway.

You think they didn't matter? 1.82% of Steam users run a GT 730. That's more than ANY graphics card made by AMD.

Edit: Whoops, it's 0.92% of all GPUs (1.82% is from a subset). Still ahead of all AMD cards though.

And 0.98% run intel 4000 intergrated, that should be enough to show people tend to not really give a shit about gaming performance when down in the budget category. This isnt going to kill anything. People are still going to by shit sub $100 cards.

I'd take Steam stats with a grain of salt as participation in their hardware surveys are optional, and with a lot of AMD gpus overpriced and in short supply do you think gamers are going to be using AMD cards?

You do have a point, however for the price range these compete in you can't get an Intel 4 core 8 thread cpu,and graphics comparable to a GTX 1030 or RX550.

The value for money is pretty nice. Wish these were out last year when I was building my old man a little workstation.

do you realize this pushes the envelope on low end higher which will domino effect to the top cards

like it has always done?

I said it obsoleted it. People still sometimes buy obsolete shit, but now AMD is unequivocally the best option in that segment.

Just look at stats from before crypto mining hiked prices. This market has always existed.

I cant argue price point. I just dont see the point in buying a APU just to get performance around a 1030, because you know how much that card is bragged about. /s

I guess I just dont like budget parts as its generally a huge waste of money in the long run.

Trust me, AMD APUs have never ever pushed the envelope on higher end cards. This really only affects intel.

It wont cut out the sub $100 market. This is not a first that APUs match or are close the that market and time and time again, people still blow money on stupid $100 cards. As I said, intel will be the only ones affected as the only ones who really care are small builds that cant take a GPU and most GPU HP is needed.

wow

Or the bar is just going up because better GPUs trickle down with each gen release? Jesus christ dude, its an APU with mediocre performance @1080p, its not killing anything nor raising the bar. When the gtx 20xx comes out 1050 performance will be at that price point (as long as bullshit GPU go to normal).

It has not one thing to do with the threat of an APU
