I think i may have an unhealthy obsession with computer science

I like to clean and repair stuff, anything that is within my reach and i think is worthy of treatment, even stuff i have no idea how to fix, i find a way to acquire enough knowledge about it and then tackle the job. 10/10 times i get everything right and the result is just how i expected, and my bar is always set very high. Really not trying to brag about anything here, its just a natural ability that i have, that i can deal really well with palpable things, the trade-off is that i'm a otherwise a complete moron in things such as mathematics, physics, don't even get me started on coding...

Just a few days i decided to take on the hobby of vintage computer keyboard collection and restoration, my friends laughed really hard at the idea they couldn't even breath, assholes.

I started with the obvious choice, a Model M, for some reason its very satisfying to clean those up, they are very easy to take apart, very well built and just a great keyboard in general. 

 

I wish i could do more car related stuff, but i'm a lone wolf in the local car culture, so i can't go very far.

I've done abut 3 weeks of Tai Chi and i have to admit i did find it quite relaxing. However be careful with using your 'routines' in self defense, Tai Chi practitioners often (not always) don't know how to defend without using full force where it could do more harm than good. Just my 2 cents on that matter

I know the purpose of most of the moves in a self defence setting but we've never been taught how to do them in that way - it's all about moving a slowly as possible which isn't what you'd need in a self-defence situation.

If I wanted self-defence the place I go does other more appropriate classes for that (jujitsu and eskrima for example).

Yeah of course although technically speaking for self defense martial arts isn't what you want; you want a fighting style like Krav Maga. One thing i noticed when i learned Aikido for 3 years (Japanese Martial Art) is that unless you're facing an opponent who is also trained in martial arts, knowing a martial art doesn't hep you that much

 

After doing a lot of research into it i'd choose Krav Maga for self defense over something like Tae Kwon Do or Karate

Well, I'm a bookworm and stories addict. Book, movie, game, tv drama... Doesn't matter. Good quality story is what makes me happy.

I blow glass in my spare time, I used to do it a lot more then I do now. There is a local studio I go that you pay to use their equipment and you can buy glass from them to use too. 

 

My projet I was working on was making my gf all the wands from Harry Potter out of glass. I made Harry, Ron, Hermione and the elder wand(dumbledoor’s even though it could be Malfoy or Harry’s too). I did get tired of making wands so tried to make a glass snitch but the wings never looked right to me. It’s been a month or two since I’ve done it but When I get free time I’m going back to it.
