Brand New HP Omen X35 or used Acer X34

HI,

 

I am getting ready to go from 4K gsync 27 inch to Ultra wide 1400p. I play mostly AAA games, would like a decent fps (80-90) and care greatly about colors, and visual details. 

I have GTX 1080ti, Core i7 7700, 16 GB Ram.

 

In Japan, the prices are really high for consumer electronics:

 

New HP Omen X35: 999$ (on sale, with 3 year warranty)

New X34: 1270$ (1 year warranty)

New Alienware AW3418DW: 1540$ (3 year warranty+80$)

 

Used X34 good condition, 99.7 % good rating seller on auction site: 680$-800$

 

I would like to keep a reasonable budget unless the difference between 2 monitors is noticeable. A new Omen X35 seems to be a good middle ground but I couldn't find many reviews, and none in the usual high-tech big sites.

 

The Alienware seems great but the 500$+ difference is pretty steep. 

 

Any advice?

I forgot about that thread since it got few answers, sorry. I actually went all the way up to a brand new X34P, even if it was near to impossible to find.
