PS4 has the best layout and joy stick, I only wish it was better supported on pc

First gen XBone controller was ass but the second gen one is much nicer since they made the LB and RB more clicky, and it has by far the best build quality of any controller.

Except you need 3rd party app for that. Speaking from experience with DualShock 3

Would be better if it was also in the post itself cause I skipped the question. But I like my HALO Guardian themed Xbox One controller a lot.

How much will 360 and One controller make of a difference in terms of built quality?

Scarlett Crush works alright... not that I'm against the xbox controller or any thing, whatever is more appealing to you.

PS4 controller if you're using steam for the games. The controller layout is a lot better and feels way better to use over the Xbox One controller. The Xbox one controller though is supported across all games you could play on your PC unlike the DS4 where it can only be used with Steam.

The PS4 controller support is trash even though it has "official" support through through steam. I sold mine and looking at getting an XBone controller at some point.

It works great for me? Way better than the Xbox One controller. The only game I've had problems with support for DS4 are Nier: Automata. The DS4 is just sluggish in that game but everything else like Dark Souls, GTA, Ori, LEGO Games, and Naruto Shippuden the DS4 is way better than the Xbone controller for me.

Honestly though, the Scuf PS4 Impact controller is the way to go though. 360 body with PS layout and has full windows support. Pricy but worth it because of the shape and layout of the controller.

Not sure what you guys talking about, DS4Windows is flawless for me. All my games is supported. It's a very small software which you don't even notice it's running.

Only problem I've ever had with DS4windows is when playing GTA V it would cause my pc to bluescreen. Other than that its great.

Had lots of crashes and disconnects and the Bluetooth was always disconnecting and taking forever to get working again. I want a controller to be plug and play or at least just one time setup.

Not much. Buttons are clicker and overall build quality feels a little more premium (based off the ones directly out of the box from Microsoft) but of course both work on each platform but ps4

I use DS4 primarily. I have an Xbox 360 but the DS4 has made me HATE the 360's D-Pad. 2D platformers feel imprecise. I haven't tried a Xbox One controller on PC, but I plan on it eventually.

Edit: That Xbox One shaped DS4 by Hori looks neat. I feel like I would like that given what I like about 360 and DS4 controllers.
