Windows 10 Defender will start removing shady "free PC optimizer" applications soon.

Don't blame average people for being legitimately fooled by malware developers, don't even blame MS or anyone who is trying to do something about it, blame the pricks that write the malware in the first place causing all this to be an issue.

So whose house are we going to go to with torches and pitchforks?

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

I only like this if it also removes crapware browser addons.

By the way isn't this a little hypocritical coming from the company that pushed the windows 10 upgrade as if the universe depended on it? I get that these are more malicious and actually want money, but where do you draw the line? I think I'd rather have them make an effort to educate the consumer rather than just uninstall things without warning and little explanation. Also, as a power user, I don't like the idea of windows defender removing programs I chose to install - there may be things that it considers crapware that I intentionally installed for a specific reason, and you never know what will actually be detected as "shady".

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

Exactly. Don't you people have parents/grandparents surfing the internets?

I even know people in their teens and 20's that get tricked by this sort of thing.  ;)

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
