Custom drawer.

Then there's no way, AFAIK. It's all up to the app developer to create a subroutine to hide it.

I have a custom app drawer that I use, but the task always shows up in the app switcher. Is there anyway to prevent this or hide it.

This is my opinion, it doesn't mean I'm right and is liable to change at any time. I may offend of which I apologize in advance.

This belongs in Mobile Devices.

 

Custom app drawer or launcher? Cause it shouldn't be showing up if its a launcher.
