Fan for Raijintek Pallas

Hey guys,

I have a Raijintek Pallas cooling my 8600k, still non OC. - Processor came this weekend, not even monitoring temps yet

So at the end of the week I'll start monitoring temps and start OCing

Pallas is an awesome cooler, but the fan that comes with it is VERY slow and quiet. I'm not sure it will handle the 8600k in good temps.

My i5 6600 was around 70ºc on stress tests, fan on silent mode.

And so the question is: Is there any other 140mm fan that I can use/adapt on my Pallas, so that I can heave more air flowing into those beautifull heatpipes?

These are the models available in my country; I could try to find other products:

Thanks !

The ml 140 is fantastic, might take a bit of modification to get it to work though

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

well the CM has more air flow, and is cheaper; Could I go wrong with that one?

The isn't that slow. Its max is about same with mine. You could just try to run it with faster speed and see how temps are. Getter faster fan will give out more noise along with performance. Idk which you value more.

It'll be louder with a shorter lifespan

Try seeing how the stock fans performs with the 8600k oc'ing before deciding on whether or not to replace the fan. Replacing the fan on a heatsink generally doesn't make a huge difference.

Got 53ºc stress test on 4.7GHz, no vcore tweaks;

I guess I'm fine, right?

You're fine up to 80-90c at load so that's plenty of headroom.
