Plugging and unplugging headphones makes them not work

Hi guys! The problem is very "simple". I turn on my laptop and plug my headphones in and they work just fine, but when I unplug and plug them back in, they wont work. The laptop speakers still work when the headphones are unplugged but the headphones do not. It happened after I installed Lenovo updates with their Lenovo Vantage software. I uninstalled all the Dolby programs that it installed but still doesn't work...

 

Any help?

Check your playback devices by right clicking your sound icon and see what device it is using when playing sound.
