Better yet redirect them to a page that uses their machine for coin mining. :P

A while ago. I wasn't serious. :) I personally don't agree with coin mining. Although thats a different topic.

I must be boring, my two are literally called “2.4ghz” and “5ghz” I’ll let you figure out why.

But they're labeled in reverse, so the 5GHz network is called "2.4ghz", right?  C'mon you gotta at least try to mess with people a little bit xD

The hotspot on my phone is named something like "Mobile Speedtrap Van 4". And once I were sat at the mechanics, waiting for my car to be finished. I noticed the salesmen would start running back and forth looking for something. Seemed wierd untill I heard they were swearing about the police setting up speedtraps down the street again. Never thought I would actually get to hear the reaction to some stupid SSID haha.

funny thing actually im trying to be funny with mine too but i have actually one signal in my apartment block calledd "i can hear you having sex" and currently mine is "me too"

also some more funny i have come across in the past or have had my self:

"selling wifi for ass"

"BND survailance van 9435" (BND is the german equivalent to the FBI/CIA)

"FuckYourWIFI" which had the strongest signal around overlapping everone else on all channels and there was like 12 networks called that

and in college i had this one dude constanly changing his to reflect news worthy comments to us like "Party@House6BringBeer", "LookingForTestAnswers", "<NumberPlate>YourLightsAreOn" and stuff of that variety which was kind of a fun way to communicate with everyone.

"I know its stupidly overdone and unreasonably unneccesary but wouldnt it be awesome if ..."

Mine has been "Searching..." for years.

Seriously 9 out of 10 guests that come over get absolutely stumped trying to find the WiFi.

"It keeps saying searching but won't detect your wifi"

It's worked so much and been the topic of so many funny conversations over the last couple years that I haven't found a reason to change it.

I had a friend who labeled his as "Come Hack Me Bro"

Otherwise, I don't broadcast my SSID, so I don't need it to be flashy. Just something not easily guessable.
