You'd be suprised, a lot of the good dealers don't use drugs themselves and just make a massive profit off of it.

Stacks of cash are harder to trace (sometimes) but much easier to watch and get caught with red handed.   Which means a drug dealer trying to pay for a shipment with cash needs to physically get it from him to the supplier without being seen by anyone who might compromise the operation.   Where as shifting  half a million through a mixer using a burn phone internet  is a walk in the park comparatively speaking.

It takes a HIGH level of IQ to gain kNOWLIGE OF THE BITcoin. News Stories around the world arent enough to GRASP the HIGH-INTELLECT concept of the bitcoin!! Just because bitcoins are shoved in anyones faces - how are they UNDERSTAND this concept!!
