A couple of days ago to install Batman Arkham Origins. My internet isn't that good, so I still buy a few games on disc. Unless it's cheaper on Steam.

Used mine to install BF4 because download speeds just three miles out of city limits are capped at 3Mbps by AT&T, and the only other option is satellite internet with their contracts and 15GB download limits. (For reference, I went over my 150GB AT&T limit, got another 50GB for $10 and used that up and got another.)

It's fairly ridiculous, Comcast Xfinity isn't available here, AT&T's Uverse isn't available here, but they are both are a quarter mile south of here.

I also prefer to have hard copies of games in case of hard drive failure, that way I can just pop the disc in and be playing after the updates, which take far less time than the 26GB base game.

If you don't really want to install a CD/DVD/BluRay on your Rig you can buy an external one as you never know when you might need it, and as long as you have a modern mobo it should allow for it to act as the boot drive if needed. If you have an old internal drive just buy a 5 1/4 " external USB drive enclosure and install it there and save it for that day you need it.

If you don't have any CD/DVD/BluRay disc's then maybe you don't need one and can get away from buying one.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.

Haven't used an optical drive in a system since sometime in 2011. I have a stack of them in my cupboard, should really just throw them out...
